Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation invites seasoned schedulers to join its logistics team in a senior advisory role across domestic and international hydrocarbon scheduling. As Lead Hydrocarbon Scheduler you will oversee scheduling activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with traders, dock coordinators, and terminals to optimize movement and inventory.

You will analyze forecasted needs, optimize inventories, develop movement plans for multiple modes, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
• Expert on transport markets with knowledge of pipelines and tariffs.
• Advanced knowledge of refinery operations and crude markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrocarbon scheduler with defined scope and network of internal and external contacts.
• Forecast and optimize supply/demand, inventory, dock and tank space.
• Develop supply programs aligned with traders and schedulers; implement evaluation tools.
• Identify technology solutions to improve efficiency and data management in scheduling.
• Collaborate on projects, upgrades and new IT solutions related to scheduling.
