Job summary

IBSS is seeking a Senior GRC Analyst / Senior ISSO Consultant for remote work supporting US-based and federal clients. The role focuses on governance, risk management, and compliance, including developing SSPs and addressing evidence gaps to demonstrate controls across NIST and related frameworks.

The candidate should bring 10–12 years of GRC experience, bachelor-level education in a cybersecurity-related field, and certifications such as CCSP, CISA, CISM, or CISSP.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of hands-on cybersecurity GRC experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or cybersecurity coursework.
• Certifications: CCSP, CISA, CISM, or CISSP.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, and CMMC.
• Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and identifying evidence gaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate policy-to-control mapping and annual policy reviews.
• Lead risk assessments and remediation guidance aligned with NIST frameworks.
• Prepare and participate in audits and readiness activities.
• Support GRC methodologies and mentor junior staff.
