Job summary

Plan A Technologies is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions across backend services, frontend applications, and integrations.

The role requires 8+ years of professional software engineering, with at least 6+ years in Go and TypeScript, and a strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production applications.
• 6+ years with Go and TypeScript.
• Strong experience developing full-stack applications (backend + frontend).
• Experience with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tech stacks.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience designing/building distributed systems using microservices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven integrations.
• Cloud-native development and modern infrastructure concepts.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on software delivery across backend services, frontend apps, APIs, and integrations.
• Work across platform layers including UI, backend, distributed systems, data persistence, and cloud infra.
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions to build scalable, secure solutions.
• Design/implement distributed systems using microservices and microfrontends.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, ensure code quality and performance.
• Develop automated tests and support CI/CD processes.
• Solve complex engineering problems across multiple codebases with minimal supervision.
• Follow engineering standards and SDLC processes while improving tooling and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and stakeholders; document decisions.
