Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Corporate Banking squad, delivering scalable Go services on AWS. You will own code quality, testing, and documentation, contributing to a cloud-native, microservices-based platform used by large enterprises.

You will participate in all SDLC stages, design resilient architectures, and collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or at least 3 years of work experience.
• Strong Golang and distributed systems experience in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with API design/documentation tools and DevEx.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable services using Golang on AWS.
• Own delivery of clean, tested, well-documented code aligned with goals.
• Participate in full SDLC including planning, design, testing, and deployment.
• Design scalable microservices and evaluate performance/reliability trade-offs.
• Write robust automated tests and maintain IaC with Terraform.
• Monitor health with logs, metrics, tracing; resolve distributed system issues.
• Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional partners to translate requirements.
