Job summary

Connected Nation, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst to manage and perform analyses of geospatial data related to broadband access and use in a geographic information system (GIS).

The role emphasizes interactive maps, data visualization, and integration with CN’s internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Geospatial Analyst will develop scripts and automation to optimize data processing, data management, and analysis, supporting geospatial databases and data warehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, geology, planning, or related scientific field required.
• Five years minimum experience, or educational equivalent, in GIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardcopy and interactive geospatial and mapping products using CN-provided tools.
• Develop and maintain custom geospatial applications and interactive mapping solutions.
• Develop and maintain databases and automation scripts for processing and loading data.
• Perform location-based data processing including geocoding, digitizing, and georeferencing.
• Analyze spatial statistics by geographic area to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with the Geospatial team for efficient product development.
