Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior GCP Architect (Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer II) to lead secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions for Public Sector clients. This remote role supports teams across architecture, modernization, and operations within the continental United States.

In this role you will mentor engineers, set technical roadmaps, and guide complex projects. A TS/SCI-ready profile and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years in enterprise or government cloud architecture; 5+ years Python or C++.
• Experience leading cloud deployments, migrations, or modernization.
• Experience with Google Cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and Kubernetes.
• Current Google Cloud Professional certification (any listed).
• Travel up to 10% on average.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Salary range provided in posting.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions.
• Advise customers and executives on tradeoffs and modernization strategies.
• Provide hands-on engineering leadership through coding and validation.
• Drive cloud modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with client teams to resolve issues and mentor junior staff.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers.
