Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a 100% remote contract through year-end with potential extensions. The role focuses on building scalable, serverless data solutions using Node.js and React.js in an AWS environment, while delivering design specifications, unit tests, and technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of software development experience, strong AWS serverless expertise, and a proven ability to work with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience building full-stack applications with Node.js and React.js in a cloud environment.
• Deep working knowledge of AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Kinesis, RDS).
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Design and development experience building and monitoring microservices.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience (Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline).
• Strong fundamentals in OO design and computer science principles.
• Working knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns.
• Knowledge of systems analysis/design (OOAD, UML) and database design.
• Solid grasp of SDLC and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex software and manage small project components with adherence to deadlines.
• Create design specifications, perform unit testing, and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-team members to ensure expectations are met.
• Provide high-quality, scalable serverless solutions in a data-focused environment.
