Job summary

DripShop in the Americas (remote) is seeking a senior engineer to turn product ideas into reliable features across React and Node.js/TypeScript, from prototype to launch and iteration. This hands-on IC role offers meaningful input into the product and production performance.

You will design data models and APIs, build frontend with real-time updates and payment flow, create a prototype, run tests, deploy safely, and monitor reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production software experience, including front-end and back-end work.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with React and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Ability to design clear data models and APIs, reason about race conditions and idempotency.
• Strong product sense, ownership of quality, and ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Experience with testing (unit/integration) and monitoring in production.
• Comfort working on a fully remote, cross-time-zone team with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design data models and APIs, then build the frontend, real-time updates, and payment flow.
• Create a usable prototype independently and iterate with design.
• Test critical flows and failure cases, deploy safely, monitor production behavior.
• Instrument features, track performance, and improve with data and user feedback.
