Ladders is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to lead frontend initiatives from requirements to production, delivering scalable and maintainable user experiences. You will shape architecture decisions, partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams, and help reduce technical debt across shared frontend systems.

The role emphasizes owning frontend execution, improving performance, and contributing to observability and incident response in a remote setup.

Formación

• 5+ years building modern web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• 3+ years working with React or a similar modern frontend framework.
• Experience leading technical implementation of production features end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience consuming and influencing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with debugging complex production issues.
• Experience writing automated tests, including unit, integration, and E2E tests.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the end-to-end technical execution of small to medium initiatives, from shaping requirements to production release.
• Translate product goals into scalable frontend architecture decisions, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the evolution of React and Electron-based applications, improving shared libraries and system design.
• Identify risks and validate assumptions in ambiguous problem spaces to de-risk solutions before they impact delivery.
• Reduce technical debt and improve code quality and performance to ensure long-term health of the codebase.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend engineers on trade-offs and non-functional requirements.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues, contributing to observability and incident response.
• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
