Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a senior 3D developer with real-time rendering expertise to own the browser-based 3D layer (orbits, spacecraft, telemetry). This role is primarily a React and Three.js focus, with transferable skills from Unity or Unreal welcomed.

You'll work directly with our Creative Director to build immersive, production-grade visuals that run in real time at workable frame rates, delivering the common operating picture for mission scenarios and government-grade demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with React and TypeScript and 3D web rendering.
• Strong visuals and performance-driven approach.
• Experience with real-time 3D in browser environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and own our React and three.jsrenderinglayer—the 3D viewport and the control measures that make up the common operatingpicture.
• Turn design intent into production front end: components, interaction, motion, and the small details that make an interface feel polished.
• Work with our data and platform engineers to render live telemetry and mission data at workable frame rates.
• Own the 3D scene craft: renderers, materials and shaders, lighting, camera behavior, and level of detail.
• Prototype visual and interaction concepts quickly, so we can test ideas and iterate.
