Job summary

Velera Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Risk Prevention Analyst - Premier to deliver operational and technical risk assessments in fraud mitigation, leveraging quantitative methods and AI to review data and improve efficiency. You will design rules, monitor fraud, and provide solutions for clients, coordinating with FDWC and internal teams.

The role requires deep fraud expertise, strong SQL skills, and the ability to communicate technical topics to financial institutions and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics.
• 7+ years within the financial service industry.
• 7+ years professional experience in risk analytics, mitigating risk and/or fraud services.
• Strong proficiency with SQL; ability to analyze large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical risk assessments for fraud mitigation.
• Write rules and create custom solutions for clients; monitor fraud for client group.
• Support external clients and internal staff on fraud detection and prevention matters.
• Coordinate with FDWC, Velera Service Centers and other departments to resolve complex issues.
