You will specialize in forensic engineering, structural damage assessment, and failure analysis across commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate holds a PE license, a bachelor's degree, and eight years of relevant experience in determining causes of structural failure, storm damage, and building envelope investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required in resident state.
• Eight years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns engineers to client losses and manages quality control.
• Surveys losses and loss scenes at residential and commercial buildings.
• Conduct investigations to determine and document the scope of damage.
• Provides guidance and leadership on complex losses.
• Collaborate with investigators to produce detailed reports outlining causes and damages.
• Acts as an expert witness in court/depositions.
