Assertive Professionals seeks a Senior Business & Financial Operations Analyst to support our DoD/DoW customer. This remote role is based in the United States, with onsite work at Quantico, VA as required by the customer.

The role emphasizes operational improvements, cost tracking, and governance across lifecycle documentation and analyses. The ideal candidate will have at least eight to ten years of relevant experience, a finance/business degree, and fluency in English, with familiarity in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Minimum eight years of relevant financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting experience.
• Ten years of relevant experience.
• Competencies in technical writing, business strategy, Lean Six Sigma/SCRUM team leadership and/or DAWIA Program and Procurement Management.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS and other DoD/DoD policies.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address gaps in business operations, documenting and improving workflows.
• Develop SOPs and draft policies; support business case and gap analyses.
• Manage lifecycle documentation and support project cost tracking, WBSs and schedules.
• Support governance activities, process improvement, reporting and metrics.
• Onboard/offboard support and year-end reconciliation; handle special projects.
