Job summary

Risk & Regulatory Consulting, LLC (RRC), an affiliate of RSM, seeks a Supervising Financial Analyst for its Risk & Regulatory Consulting practice in the United States. This role focuses on risk-focused financial analysis and regulatory consulting for state insurance departments, with strong advancement opportunities.

You will review regulatory filings, supervise staff, and expand expertise in insurance statutes and NAIC standards while supporting client services and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7-10+ years experience as financial analyst, accountant, auditor or examiner in insurance/regulatory settings.
• Insurance industry or regulatory experience required.
• Strong client-service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk-focused financial analysis to assess insurer financial condition and regulatory compliance.
• Review insurer regulatory filings, including approvals of acquisitions, transactions, dividends and restructurings.
• Oversee the quality and consistency of analytic reviews with thorough documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop RRC and client analysts to foster growth.
