Job summary

Lithko Contracting, LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Estimating team. In this role, you will support the Estimating team and Pre-Construction Lead in all aspects of estimating, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding for commercial and industrial projects.

This is a remote opportunity for the right candidate. Candidates located anywhere in the US will be considered, but preference may be given to candidates in close proximity to a Lithko office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural concrete estimating for large-scale self-perform General Contractors or concrete contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Solid understanding of construction principles and bid processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Setup: Establish estimates with alternates, general conditions, vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor production, and wage rates.
• Conceptual Estimating: Develop conceptual estimates with accurate alternates and pricing.
• Detailed Take-Offs: Perform detailed take-offs for concrete scope items.
• Proposal Preparation: Create comprehensive proposals with scope, terms, and bid pricing.
• Project Information Management: Deliver accurate project info during turnover and planning.
• Team Support: Guide estimators and coordinators in processes and tool usage.
