Job summary

Jobot, a Southern California-based law firm, seeks a California-based estate planning attorney for a fully remote role. You will advise high net worth clients on estate and gift tax planning, and draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney. The position supports complex planning strategies and cross-collaboration with wealth advisors.

CA bar admission and recent estate planning experience are required; remote work is available to CA residents only.

Qualifications

• California Bar Admission and CA-based practice.
• Recent estate planning experience with advanced techniques.
• Experience drafting wills, trusts, GRATs, QTIPs, and powers of attorney.

Responsibilities

• Advise high net worth clients on estate and gift tax planning strategies.
• Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Structure GRATs, QTIPs, marital trusts, and other advanced planning vehicles.
• Support business succession planning for family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
• Collaborate directly with wealth advisors and CPAs on integrated planning matters.

• Base range: $150k to $225k (DOE) + structured performance-based bonuses — up to $300k total comp


• Quarterly bonus cadence — billable hours, originations, and collections
