Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager of Epidemiology to lead non-interventional studies and support PMR/PMC regulatory commitments.

You will identify epidemiology data for submissions, manage CROs, develop SAPs with biostatisticians, and coordinate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory.

This remote-capable role offers collaboration across US/EU teams and opportunities to publish research findings.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in epidemiology or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years in pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Experience with rare disease studies.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience analyzing secondary data sources (claims/EMR).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct/outsource literature searches to identify epidemiology data in diverse geographies.
• Support regulatory submissions (RMPs, safety responses, orphan drugs) with epidemiology input.
• Identify US and EU secondary data sources (claims, EMR databases).
• Lead RFPs and SOWs for CROs and data providers.
• Develop statistical analysis plans with the biostatistician.
• Manage external investigators and CROs to deliver on time.
• Communicate timelines and deliverables to regulatory leads.
• Present findings at conferences and co-author manuscripts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
