Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Senior Epidemiologist to join its Sponsor-Dedicated FSP team on a fully remote basis in the United States. You will design observational research using secondary data to inform regulatory and safety decisions across product lifecycles.

The role requires a PhD/ScD in Epidemiology and 5–7 years in pharma/biotech, with deep expertise in study design and regulatory evidence generation. You will collaborate across Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory Affairs and Biostatistics teams.

Qualifications

• PhD/ScD (or equivalent) in Epidemiology with 5–7 years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Strong expertise in observational epidemiology methods and the use of commercial real-world data sources.
• Proven ability to support regulatory interactions and clinical development programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct and interpret observational epidemiology studies.
• Assess evidence gaps and develop evidence strategies for regulatory submissions and safety assessments.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics and Real-World Evidence teams to apply appropriate epidemiologic approaches.
