Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Sr. EIT Budget Analyst to join the Enterprise Information Technology Finance team. You will manage EIT’s budget, prepare analyses, and translate technology financial details into actionable insights for managers and leadership.

You will collaborate with EIT managers, interpret contracts, and support annual planning while using Excel and multiple budgeting systems to drive informed decisions across the IT organization.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance degree required.
• Strong budgeting and financial analysis skills.
• Experience interpreting contracts and their budget impact.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and present insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversees program/project level cost accounting and budget visibility.
• Supports annual budgeting and reforecasts spend monthly.
• Manages contract coordination and renewals tracking.
• Ensures accuracy of journal entries and accruals by staff.
• Prepares complex financial reports for EIT leadership.
• Communicates findings effectively to EIT and BCBST leadership.
