Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Director, Full-stack Engineer (Remote-Eligible) to lead multiple engineering teams within the Global Payment Network. You will define long-term technical strategy, guide architectural decisions, and translate business goals into scalable cloud platforms.

You will mentor leaders, drive workforce strategy, and recruit top talent while delivering high-velocity, secure, and resilient systems across domestic and international rails.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related quantitative field
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns
• At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• At least 9 years of experience in data architecture
• 7+ years of people management experience
• 12+ years of experience in web technologies and distributed systems

Responsibilities
