Job summary

NetBox Labs is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Delivery team. This role will own AWS infrastructure (EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS) for NetBox Cloud and lead end-to-end projects with a focus on reliability and automation.

You will drive CI/CD improvements (GitHub Actions), mentor engineers, and contribute to SOC 2 compliance. Remote work in the United States is supported, with collaboration across product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• 3+ years at a B2B SaaS company.
• Strong AWS experience across EKS/Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, RDS, and cost management.
• Deep IaC experience with Terraform and Helm.
• Strong CI/CD experience, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Python and Go, with shell scripting.
• Track record of scoping and delivering complex infra projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write design docs.
• Experience with SOC 2, IAM governance and security controls.
• Experience with AI tools in daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the AWS infrastructure underpinning NetBox Cloud: EKS clusters, VPC design, IAM, RDS, and supporting services.
• Lead infrastructure projects from design through delivery with clear milestones.
• Collaborate with Product teams to deliver reliable, scalable customer launches.
• Drive improvements to deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines with a focus on reliability and speed.
• Identify and address technical debt to reduce risk.
• Set and own SLOs; reduce toil through automation.
• Contribute to SOC 2 compliance and IAM governance.
• Mentor engineers via code reviews and design discussions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response end to end.
