Job summary

Vision To Learn is seeking a Senior Development Officer to elevate donor stewardship and communications. You will manage a portfolio of individual and institutional donors, moving relationships from initial engagement through renewal and deeper giving.

You will translate program impact into compelling donor materials, coordinate leadership touchpoints, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. Strong writing, planning, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of fundraising and development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply moves-management practices.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead stewardship planning for assigns portfolio of donors and partners.
• Develop tailored stewardship plans reflecting each donor’s interests and stage.
• Ensure timely acknowledgments, impact updates, and recognition.
• Coordinate donor meetings, site visits, events, and follow-up.
• Translate program impact into tailored engagement and asks.
• Support grant proposals, reports, renewals, and funder communications.
