Job summary

Essentia Health is hiring a Senior Decision Support Analyst to develop and maintain cost accounting functions and BI reports using the decision support system and BI tools. The role supports clinical and operational leaders by organizing quantitative information to illuminate decisions.

The position requires strong financial analysis, project leadership, and collaboration across finance and operations. Remote work is offered with preference to candidates in service areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, accounting, health informatics, computer science, MIS, or related field.
• 5 years of experience working in healthcare accounting, data development, and data analysis.
• Experience with healthcare BI tools and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cost accounting systems and analytics.
• Performs broad financial analyses for assigned areas.
• Leads complex projects and acts as project manager when needed.
• Provides tools and data and guides clinicians/operational leaders.
