Placements24 is assisting a remote-first research division in seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a strong ML background. You will build predictive models on large-scale datasets and turn complex results into actionable insights for cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a PhD or MSc, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Python or R with TensorFlow/PyTorch/Scikit-learn, plus cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and scalable model deployment. It offers a flexible, fully remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on machine learning applications.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
• Proven ability to build and deploy scalable machine learning models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for complex scientific problems.
