Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Data and Reporting Professional in the Illinois Medicaid Market to support network optimization through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. You will integrate data from multiple sources, develop reporting solutions, and help ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of data processes that support business decision-making.

The role is remote with a 40-hour week, offering a pay range of $73,400 to $100,100 per year and eligibility for a bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of technical experience in data reporting or 5+ years without degree.
• 3 years of data analysis experience in a healthcare organization.
• 3 years of advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS and other data systems.
• 3 years of advanced Excel skills including linking pivots to external data sources.
• 3 years of advanced Power BI skills including data connections and relationships.
• 1 year of experience with Tableau or Qlik for data visualizations.
• Must be available to work 8am-5pm CST.

Responsibilities

• Generate ad hoc reports, recurring datasets, and reporting solutions for business partners.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver accurate insights.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret data from reporting tools and data warehouses.
• Develop report specifications based on requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Maintain team documentation of reporting processes and data flows.
• Schedule and monitor automated data processing jobs and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and data management processes.
• Investigate and resolve data quality and reporting issues with root-cause analysis.
• Apply advanced analytical and technical expertise to solve business challenges.
• Recommend and implement effective approaches for reporting projects.
