DEFCON AI, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the durable storage view of resolved entities, preserving disagreements and provenance for a year-long audit trail.

You’ll design versioned storage, lineage, and evidence to support explainable decisions in a secure government cloud environment. You’ll work with analytics and AI engineering to ingest, reconcile, and retain multiple sources, ensuring reproducibility of past decisions while enabling point-in-time questions and

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or data platform engineering with historized data models.
• Designing storage with history, provenance and source disagreement as first-class concepts.
• Comfort building on probabilistic upstream output rather than a clean shared key.
• Strong Python and SQL, with production experience on PostgreSQL or comparable.
• US Citizenship required; Active US Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Design and build the storage layer that preserves source disagreement and history.
• Build the first release's result and evidence store linked to originating records and human feedback.
• Implement provenance and lineage across the platform against the evidence-record contract.
• Store versioned rule library and configuration with exact rule versions on results.
• Ensure every write is traceable to origin and every decision is reproducible.
• Carry match confidence and uncertainty forward through the platform.
