Job summary

Keyrock is expanding its Central Data Team (CDT) to build a data platform that enables real-time, cross-functional decisions. You’ll own streaming and batch pipelines, APIs, and governance for market data, trades, and analytics, partnering with Trading, Wealth, Product, Risk, Finance and Research teams.

You’ll design scalable lakehouse architectures, push for self-serve data tooling, and ensure cost-effective, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production data systems that others rely on.
• Strong Python and SQL; understand engine behavior and query impact.
• Readable, testable, maintainable code with clear structure.

Responsibilities

• Build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting market data.
• Develop self-serve tooling (SDKs, patterns, templates, AI agents).
• Own data contracts and schema evolution; prevent multi-team coordination issues.
• Design lakehouse and time-series layer around common query patterns.
• Build Data Governance and Quality Framework: validation, lineage, ownership.
• Create analytics for business: cross-exchange spreads, VWAP, exposure, performance.
• Prioritize observability, cost, and performance from day one.
• Treat infrastructure as code (Docker, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Collaborate openly with Architecture, Infrastructure, Platform teams.
