Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Data & Knowledge Engineer to design RAG and enterprise search architectures, building ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and indexing pipelines using Databricks and Azure Document Intelligence.

You will develop and maintain vector search indexes, embeddings, and retrieval systems, integrate knowledge graphs with Neo4j, and ensure metadata, lineage, and data freshness across enterprise data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data/Analytics/Knowledge Platform roles.
• Strong hands-on with Azure Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search, Databricks, SQL.
• Experience building ingestion, transformation, enrichment, embedding, indexing pipelines.
• Knowledge of vector search, embeddings, RAG, enterprise retrieval.
• Experience designing knowledge graphs using Neo4j or similar.
• Understanding metadata, lineage, data quality, governance.

Responsibilities

• Design RAG and enterprise search architectures and build ingestion, transformation, enrichment, document extraction, embedding, and indexing pipelines using Databricks.
• Build and maintain Azure AI Search, vector search, and access-controlled retrieval indexes with metadata and lineage.
• Implement Azure Document Intelligence pipelines to extract structured info from PDFs, forms, and documents.
• Design and maintain knowledge graph models with entities, relationships, metadata, and domain context.
