You will set the technical direction for modern data architecture, mentor a high‑performing team, and collaborate across business units to deliver reliable data solutions in a cloud-first, remote-friendly environment. The role emphasizes warehouse modernization, governance, and cost optimization, with AI-powered potential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or data platform roles.
• 2+ years leading data engineers or teams.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and ETL/ELT.
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and data modeling.
• Experience with data ingestion and integration tools like Fivetran or Meltano.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and Medallion architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term data platform roadmap and technical direction.
• Own architecture and performance of Snowflake and data pipelines.
• Lead Medallion architecture transition and data governance standards.
• Mentor and develop Data Engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reusable data solutions.
• Improve self-service data access and data quality observability.
• Manage platform costs and scalability.
• Guide architecture decisions and review approaches.
