Job summary

EITACIES Inc. in California seeks a Senior Data Engineer (Level II) or (Level III) to support a large Oracle-to-Snowflake migration. You will develop dbt models, transform data, validate results, and optimize Snowflake performance while collaborating with onsite and offshore teams.

Level II is remote, Level III is onsite at Los Angeles, CA. The role requires strong SQL, Oracle experience, and proficiency with Git, VS Code, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience (Level II).
• 10+ years of data engineering experience (Level III).
• Strong experience in dbt and Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with Oracle to Snowflake migration.
• Data validation and testing expertise.
• Experience with Git, VS Code and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dbt models.
• Transform data from Oracle to Snowflake.
• Validate data using row counts and checksum methods.
• Monitor ETL pipelines and ensure data accuracy.
• Optimize SQL for Snowflake performance.
• Design Snowflake architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Define dbt standards, macros and CI/CD practices.
• Lead UAT and stakeholder coordination.
• Handle migration issues and production cutover.
• Manage offshore delivery teams.
