Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Data Architecture to lead end‑to‑end data platforms, AI and analytics initiatives for the mobility and manufacturing sector across the US. You will guide architecture design, manage high‑impact programs, mentor teams, and partner with clients to solve complex data challenges using modern patterns and cloud services.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT to deliver scalable data solutions, ensure governance, and contribute to EY’s growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
• 12+ years professional consulting experience in industry or technology consulting.
• 12+ years hands‑on experience architecting data lake solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience with native cloud products and services (Azure/GCP).
• 8+ years mentoring and leading data architect and data engineer teams.
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, warehousing, lakes, and integration.
• Experience leading large data engineering teams and platforms.
• Hands‑on end‑to‑end data pipelines design and delivery.
• Proficiency in data modeling and modern patterns (Data Fabrics/ Mesh/ Delta Lakes).
• Coding skills in Python/Java/Scala; Docker/Kubernetes; Git and DataOps practices.
• Security best practices for data protection; experience leading infra/security engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple data architecture projects with focus on quality and risk management.
• Drive process improvements and innovative data solutions.
• Supervise teams delivering complex data initiatives and mentor juniors.
• Design and present data architecture solutions to diverse clients.
• Win new business by applying analytics and data strategy expertise.
• Guide clients through digital transformation using data platforms and AI.
