Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. is seeking a data engineer to deliver quality data modeling and visualization solutions for enterprise business units.

You will participate in designing and maintaining a modern data platform to enable informed decision making across the organization. Collaborate with Enterprise Data Analysts and Data Platform Engineers to build dashboards from raw data, implement ETL processes, and ensure data quality.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a Software Engineering role.
• Experience SAP HANA, Business Objects, and SAC platform stack.
• 3 years of experience in Tableau analytics.
• 2 years of experience with dbt as a data orchestration tool.
• 2 years of experience with CI/CD framework.
• 2 years of experience with Snowflake data modeling.
• Knowledge of Python and Java.
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and performant data modeling and visualizations solutions for cross-functional business units.
• Design, implement, maintain and support a modernized data platform for informed decision making.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Analysts and Data Platform Engineers to define and implement enterprise solutions.
• Model, design, develop, test and implement backend and frontend structures for dashboards and reports.
• Build a modern data warehouse with accessible, high-performing data for business departments.
• Create dashboards aligned with wireframes, integrate with data models and aggregate data.
• Format and process data to support dashboards and self-service reporting, including ETL transformations.
• Interact with client business community to gather requirements and translate into reporting solutions.
• Own full life cycle of development from requirements to data transformation, dashboards and reporting.
• Follow UA development standards and change-management processes.
• Educate the business toward self-serve reporting.
