Job summary

Merck is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Dairy Monitoring to grow sales within an assigned US territory, including large dairies, via partner networks and direct sales. You will manage relationships from executives to farm level, develop account plans, and drive revenue for SenseHub products.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ag sales, strong knowledge of the US dairy industry, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Sales, Sales Management or Marketing in agriculture.
• Current knowledge of the US dairy industry.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Experience with dealers and distributors.
• Ability to build and manage strategic accounts.
• Ability to travel as required (50%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to accelerate sales within assigned accounts.
• Provide on-site sales support and coordinate technical support with the strategic account org.
• Create and maintain account plans identifying threats and opportunities.
• Communicate market intelligence to Sales and Marketing Leadership.
• Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and implement agreements with financial accountability.
