Job summary

Talan Spain is seeking a Senior consultant to join its Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC), a globally distributed team protecting complex environments. You will enhance threat detection, manage security content, and drive detections across SIEM, EDR, cloud, and other platforms.

You will onboard data sources, tune detections, produce reports, and help optimize processes. This remote, full-time role offers training, exposure to international projects, and collaboration with incident response

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information technology security operations or SOC.
• Experience administering SIEM platforms.
• Experience with security data sources and telemetry feeds.
• English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, tune, and maintain security monitoring across SIEM, EDR, cloud, and other platforms.
• Support operations, maintenance, and improvement of threat detection services.
• Onboard, integrate, test, and validate security data sources and telemetry feeds.
• Manage security content lifecycle, rule reviews, testing, and QA.
