Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Engineer focused on cryptography engineering for a remote, contract engagement. The role emphasizes secure software development, MPC-based crypto custody work, and implementing cryptographic solutions across backend services.

You will work with Rust, Go, or C/C++, leveraging OpenSSL and MPC libraries, while integrating hardware security modules and SGX attestations in a cloud/containerized environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of threat modeling and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure software components for a crypto custody wallet based on MPC.
• Apply threat modeling to mitigate attack vectors during MPC rounds.
• Write cryptographic code in Rust, Go, or C/C++ with secure coding practices.
• Audit and integrate cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL and MPC frameworks.
• Leverage hardware security features including Intel SGX and HSMs, with remote attestation.
• Integrate with blockchain nodes and APIs to assemble and broadcast transactions.
• Parse and construct blockchain transactions (BTC UTXOs, Ethereum RLP).
• Design secure storage for encrypted key shares and audit logs; ensure robust DB practices.
• Build reliable networking, RPC, and concurrency controls for multi-party signing.
• Contribute to cloud security and containerized deployments to avoid misconfigurations.
