Raymond James is seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to support state tax compliance, audits, and notices. The role covers federal and international compliance, ASC 740 provision, and tax research, with opportunities to lead defined projects and mentor colleagues.

The position requires a minimum of three years in tax accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a Master’s preferred. Travel to St. Petersburg, FL may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in tax accounting and compliance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Tax preferred.
• Occasional travel to Corporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Responsabilités

• Assist with state audits and coordinate with state auditors on moderate to complex issues.
• Research IRS and state regulations and interpretations.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns and work papers.
• Assist with the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision and related disclosures.
• Support tax technology improvements and process optimization.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding tax matters.
