Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; JD preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
• Experience handling conditional demands across states (CA, FL, TX, GA, or SC) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of conditional demands and claims handling.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on conditional demands for claimants.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to claims associates on conditional demands in multiple states.
• Recommend changes in claims handling based on legislation or court decisions and trends.
• Provide direction and guidance to other claims associates on complex demands.
• Serve as trusted advisor to front-line claims file handlers on conditional demands.
• Develop and guide managers on handling demands with extra contractual liability and excess verdict risks.
• Design and implement countrywide programs and practices for conditional demands.
• Collaborate with claims management and legal on best practices.
• Coordinate with claims units for consistent, quality handling.
