Job Description

This position is open to US residents only.

Who We're Seeking

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to help (1) build and maintain our cloud infrastructure using modern orchestration tools; and (2) implement cybersecurity best practices to meet our compliance objectives. You will join an established engineering operations group, collaborating with our production stack and product development teams.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Orchestrate, manage, and secure our cloud infrastructure using cloud services and modern tools.
• Ensure our stack adheres to security best practices for compliance with government and enterprise clients.
• Design all cloud components surrounding our Kubernetes cluster.
• Navigate complex compliance landscapes.
• Collaborate with teams to design monitoring dashboards that provide relevant metrics.
• Lead and mentor other engineers regarding cloud elements.

Experience & Good to Haves

• 5+ years managing stacks on AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
• Expertise in designing secure, multi-cloud networks.
• Experience creating dashboards for logs, metrics, and tracing using tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with provisioning tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Coding experience in Python or Go for managing third-party software.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, etc.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Selenium.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000
