Job summary

Apexon is hiring a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and support AWS-based infrastructure and container platforms. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, automation, and reliable deployment across development, testing, and production environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS), container orchestration, and security-focused operations, with remote work options and collaboration across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS) and container platforms.
• Experience building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Proficient in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Deploying, operating, and troubleshooting containerised apps.
• DB administration or support with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure across dev/test/prod.
• Manage compute and container services (EC2, ECS, EKS).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab).
• Automate provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Support containerised apps, including deployments and monitoring.
• Administer PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, ensuring performance and security.
• Support data workflows using API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and EventBridge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call support.
