Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design, engineering, and evolution of enterprise cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

You will provide technical leadership for secure, scalable, automated cloud solutions that support modern workloads and platform engineering across the enterprise. The role requires 8+ years in infrastructure or architecture, strong GCP and Kubernetes experience, and expertise in IaC, CI/CD, and cloud security governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or architecture experience.
• 3+ years designing and operating public cloud solutions.
• 2+ years working with Google Cloud Platform or similar public cloud platforms.
• Experience designing large-scale cloud architectures in regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience with cloud platform engineering, automation, and self-service enablement concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD and automation solutions.
• Experience implementing cloud security and governance controls.
• Strong understanding of networking, identity, observability, and cloud operations.
• Proven ability to influence technical decisions across teams and organizations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, and evolution of enterprise cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities with a focus on GCP.
• Provide technical leadership for secure, scalable, resilient, and automated cloud solutions.
• Develop architecture patterns and standards and collaborate across teams to deliver cloud platform capabilities.
• Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve GCP infrastructure and platform engineering capabilities.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and platform engineering best practices.
• Influence architecture decisions across multiple teams and stakeholders.
