Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to oversee CRI-supported applications and collaborate with informatics engineers and clinical researchers. The role emphasizes testing, validation, and implementation of new modules within Clinical Research Enterprise systems.

Candidate will ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, develop SOPs and training materials, and work with IT, research billing, and IRB-related committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health science or related field with clinical research experience.
• Experience in clinical trials management systems and electronic health records.
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
• Strong BI/reporting skills with Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Ability to navigate complex protocols and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of CRI-supported applications.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and implementation of modules.
• Prepare validation documentation and SOPs for compliance.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across IT, research billing, and trials offices.
• Develop data requirements for protocol reporting and data visualization.
• Provide SME guidance to colleagues.
