Job summary

Emerald Clinical Trials, a global CRO, invites a Senior Clinical Project Manager to join our USA team in a home-based role, leading global and regional trials across multiple therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Renal clinical trials and a strong track record in project leadership, financial oversight, and strategic execution.

You will provide independent leadership for assigned projects, serve as the primary contact for clients and vendors, manage study timelines

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of project management experience in clinical research, CRO or pharmaceutical environments.
• Nephrology clinical trial experience is required.
• Experience in clinical site management and CRA roles is preferred.
• Proven budget management, forecasting, and contract oversight.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; regulatory knowledge (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, TGA).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage multiple priorities in a global setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent leadership for assigned clinical projects, ensuring successful execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee study management activities, including site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain study timelines, budgets, and project plans, ensuring adherence to scope.
• Mitigate risks and address challenges to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory guidelines, and company SOPs.
• Manage vendor relationships and study-specific contracts.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Support proposal development, bid defense meetings, and business growth initiatives.
• Participate in internal and external project team meetings to ensure alignment.
