Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; licenses as required.
• Six years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex professional liability claims, investigating to determine exposure and resolution.
• Conduct full investigations and provide reports pertaining to new events and claims.
• Negotiate settlements up to designated authority level.
• Calculate and assign reserves and monitor adequacy throughout claim life.
• Coordinate defense by assigning attorneys and reviewing invoices; monitor counsel for compliance.
• Communicate claim activity with clients and maintain professional relationships.
