Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years’ claims experience preferred.
• Insurance industry knowledge required.
• Excellent analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex workers' compensation claims in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely determinations and payments, including wage calculations and notices in multiple languages when required.
• Oversee initial claim setup, medical provider interactions, and plan of action on each file.
• Coordinate with attorneys, investigators, and claim staff; review bills for timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintain thorough claim notes, scans, and documentation in the claims system.
