Job summary

Dentsu Creative in New York is seeking a senior project manager for a temporary assignment starting ASAP through year-end, with potential extension. Fully remote with a preference for candidates in Boston, Hartford, Rhode Island, or New York.

You must have an advertising agency background and experience across digital, traditional, and experiential marketing. Lead staffing, timelines, budgets; monitor financial performance; manage risks and opportunities; coordinate with cross‑functional teams;

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience within an advertising agency, creative agency, marketing agency, or similar client‑service environment.
• Experience managing large‑scale integrated campaigns across digital, social, content, experiential, and/or traditional channels.
• Background supporting enterprise‑level or national consumer brands.
• Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Workfront (prefered), Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting healthcare, medical, or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of creative production workflows, video production, content creation, and digital asset development.

Responsibilities

• Fully manage staffing and resourcing for assigned brands, including annual SOW planning and resource forecasting.
• Develop, manage, and own project timelines, budgets, scopes, and project plans across a variety of deliverables and workstreams.
• Partner closely with Client Finance, Account Management, Creative, Strategy, and Production teams to monitor project health and financial performance.
• Track budgets weekly, manage project profitability, and proactively identify and address scope changes.
• Define, manage, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure project objectives are met.
• Lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Support project management best practices, process improvements, and team development initiatives.
• Contribute to new business pitches, scoping exercises, and resource planning efforts.
