Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Senior CAD Designer to join our Bridge Engineering team, supporting projects across the country. The role involves leading from templates to construction documents and mentoring teammates with advanced CAD techniques. Candidates may work 100% remotely from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years of CAD design experience on bridges; DOT project experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MicroStation; AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Experience with Point Clouds and Digital Delivery methods is a plus.
• Desire for continuous learning and strong collaboration in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings for public infrastructure bridge projects.
• Prepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files.
• Prepare reinforcing bar detailing for reinforced concrete structures.
• Apply client CAD standards into templates and assist with QA/QC.
• May develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments.
• Support development of CAD design methodology and practices.
• Oversee and supervise junior CAD staff.
