Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Principal Biostatistician in California ( Irvine area ) with remote options. You will lead end-to-end evidence strategies, design studies, and provide statistical guidance across clinical development and regulatory submissions.

The role requires advanced training in statistics, strong experience with clinical trials and RWE, and the ability to mentor junior statisticians while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or Biostatistics with 8 years analytical experience in clinical trials.
• Master's Degree or equivalent in Statistics/Biostatistics with 7 years analytical experience in clinical trials.
• PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with 4 years experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end evidence strategies for observational studies, interventional trials, and RWE programs.
• Build economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact) to communicate value of Edwards products.
• Statistical lead on multiple clinical trials; coordinate analyses for study reports and publications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and external analysts on studies and field-based initiatives.
• Represent Biostatistics on project teams; communicate status and timelines.
• Provide statistical guidance on ad hoc analyses and publication efforts.
• Research and recommend novel statistical methodologies.
• Contribute to standardization of Biostatistics SOPs and training materials.
• Lead data analysis for data monitoring committees as needed.
• Mentor junior statisticians and assist in resource and budget planning.
