Airbnb is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Segmentation & Insights Platform to lead end-to-end projects that power marketing, experiences, and growth. You will work on high-scale backend systems handling massive request volumes and contribute to the autonomous Growth Engine.

The role emphasizes design, implementation, testing, and production rollout with cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Data, and Marketing Operations. Remote-eligible in the US.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in backend systems with large-scale service-oriented architecture.
• Experience building agentic systems or LLM-powered applications.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, Java, or Kotlin.
• Strong communication and cross-team leadership.
• Eager to learn, move fast, and maintain quality.

Responsabilidades

• Scale the core platform to stay highly available and low latency.
• Build agentic features for the Marketing Growth Engine.
• Lead projects through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data and Marketing Ops to align goals.
• Partner with other engineering teams to build integrated systems.
• Guide adopters with use-case, integrations, and onboarding.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-mortems.
• Use AI tools to run multiple workstreams while ensuring quality.
