Job summary

Oddball, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their CMS team, developing and maintaining critical APIs and backend services for Healthcare.gov. This fully remote role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $135,000.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Go and Python, proficiency with PostgreSQL, and a strong collaboration mindset in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience writing backend services in Go (Golang).
• Experience with Python for data cleaning, manipulation, and ETL workflows.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Python.
• Design and build REST APIs backed by PostgreSQL.
