Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking a part-time contractor to review and improve AI-generated code, build checks, and evaluate coding systems across the development cycle. The role is US-based with a remote, flexible schedule of 20+ hours per week.

You will focus on backend, infrastructure, and systems software, ensuring correctness, performance, reliability, and clear technical reasoning, while collaborating with research and other teams to assess solutions against benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Python, C/C++, Rust or Go and building production software.
• Ability to explain technical evaluations in writing and conversation.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve AI-generated code for accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
• Build software checks that test proposed solutions and identify recurring errors.
• Evaluate coding capabilities across prototyping, architecture, API design, implementation, launch, experimentation, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with research and other teams to assess solutions against software performance benchmarks.
